well, there are many interesting things to see. krk is very culturally-oriented place as it had been one of the craddles of our language and letters, and today many monuments are still a reminder of those times.
However, my personal favourite sight is not on the krk, but rather near the krk.
it is a small island nearby, named košljun that is situated only 200 meters from punat and you can reach it with taxi boats for few euros.
you have to pay entrance fee to enter the island, and some of the things you can see are:
-franciscan monastery
-library in monastery that contains more than 20,000 volumes, among which are some rare valuable editions
-etnographic museum
-numismatic collection
-exhibition of sacral art
-also, there are over 500 plant species on the island which makes it an excellent and interesting route for walking.

My favourite on Košljun?
two things:
-the copy of the first monument written in glagolitsa, ancient croatian letter
-two-headed snake

that´s all from me,
signing off :P
