Kršan and Pićan are places near Rabac, very small and pictoresque, so if you are passing nearby, visit them, you´ll spend few hours and you won´t be sorry either.
so, Kršan is 18 kilometers from Rabac, on the way to Pićan and pazin. It is a medieval town from the 13th century. if visiting, you must see bastion and walls of the medieval castle, the parish church of St. Antony built in the 17th century.

Pićan is also a small medieval town, some 30 kilometers away from rabac. A must to see include: sacral objects and paintings in the Church and the Parish Museum, the bishop´s mantle embroidered in gold (a present from the Austrian Empress Maria Theresa),the 48 m high church tower which is the 3rd highest in Istria... finally, try out some of its high uality wines
