I strongly recommend visiting KopaÄki rit -I did and it was a wonderful experience.
It is actually a wetland of the Danube River situated in northeast Croatia, at the confluence of the Drava and Danube rivers. It is one of the largest alluvial plains in Europe that extends to the north all the way to Szekszard in the Republic of Hungary.
It has a number of adas, reefs, and, at the whole, looks like a delta within the delta, which is the unique look in the Europe. Hopefully, KopaÄki Rit will one day (soon, I hope) make on the world heritage list.
The KopaÄki rit is also known for its flora and fauna, especially for different bird kinds that live there. It is a great place for fishermen and hunters since it is the largest natural fish nursery.
If you ask me, the best way to see the park is by taking a boat ride -that is the best way to notice and observe more than 270 kinds of birds that have found habitat in KopaÄki rit.
