Vrsar
Vrsar is a famous tourist region settled on the western part of the peninsula Istria. It is favorable for FKK (naturists) and camping tourists, because provides good staying places for the natural tourism lovers.
Vrsar, situated on the narrow entrance of Limski Channel, also a small village settled on the hill, surrounded by the picturesque bell tower. It is beautiful and peaceful preserved place where you can enjoy exploring and hiking. On the coast has settled the world’s largest nudist camp, Koversada, which was established in the early 60's as one of the first camps of that kind.
The Vrsar Sea Gate are the last remaining of the old fortified town as once was, along with the Church of St Mary from the 10th century which is besides an important Romanesque Istrian monument. Due to visit also are Vergotini Castle, and St Anthony Church.
For nature lovers, there are places for exploring which lead towards Vrsar’s surrounding like: Koversada which is situated outside the town and on the south leads toward marina reserve. The Limski Channel is another interesting natural site which is wealthy with oysters and mussels, which are due to be tasted prepared on the traditional style.
