Senj
Senj is a town and a port settled in the Velebit Channel.
The town lies like an amphitheater on the very edge of the forested cove called Senjska Draga, at the foot of predominantly bare karst slants of Velebit and Senjsko Bilo. The geographical position of Senj is primarily determined by mainland; it is the shortest connection between Zagreb/Sisak and the coast, through Karlovac or Topusko to the pass Razvale (884 m) on Kapela Mountain, and from there over Vratnik (698 m) on Velebit; at that point, Dinara mountain barrier is the narrowest.
