Fazana

The little fishing village of Fažana lies north of Pula and is often used as departure point for boat trips to the Brijuni Islands.

You can stay at camping sites in the middle of unspoilt nature, watching the sunset every night, or when you prefer more comfort you can rent a holiday home or guest room. Around the village there are pine forests, beautiful pebble and sand beaches and a crystal clear sea. If you add that to the beautiful landscape and the mild Mediterranean climate it is not surprising that this little village became one of the most popular tourist destinations.

De name Fažana comes from the Roman word Vasianum; in those days the place was famous for it's amphora production. In the parochial church of St. Kosma you can find a painting of the famous painter Ventura. Another interesting sight is the Church of St. Kosma en St. Damian, this church is built just one meter above sea level.

Here you can find our offers for apartments in Fazana and also hotels in region Pula.
