Kvarner
Kvarner Bay - a large bay of the Adriatic coast, which separates the Istrian coast from southern Dalmatia. Rijeka, the region's main industrial town, with the main Country's harbor is worth a visit, although most tourists reach Rijeka mostly when going on islands or for the south regions. The Kvarner islands include Krk, Cres, Losinj, Rab and Pag.
The Kvarner Gulf is a bay in the northern Adriatic Sea, located between the Istrian peninsula and the northern Croatian seacoast (Dalmatia).
The main islands within the Kvarner bay are Cres, Krk, Pag, Rab and Losinj. The main portion of the Kvarner bay is between the mainland, Cres and Krk. A smaller body of water located between Cres, Krk, Rab and Pag is called Kvarneric (small Kvarner).
