Krk

The town of Krk on the island of Krk is the biggest town of the island. Situated at the southern central part of the island, Krk is the ideal base for a roundtrip.

The town with its well-developed tourist infrastructure has everything for a perfect, relaxing holiday. Whether you visit Krk in the high season or in the off season. There are many restaurants, supermarkets, a post office, a bank, cafes, discotheques, a port authority and a lot more. You can stroll from the centre to the beach promenade with its scuffed slabs. The narrow alleys and the lively squares invite an evening stroll. Eating out at night in one of the restaurants with a sea view can be a magical experience.

Baska

Baska is a town and a port on the south-eastern coast of the island Krk, located in the northern part of Baska Draga.

Fertile tracts of land in the Baska Draga valley, through which runs the Suha Ricina (Big Dry River) or Vela Rika (Big River), have enabled farming (wheat), fishing, vine growing, as well as making and selling wine, which in turn, has risen the maritime and shipbuilding industry. Next to the old, compact part of the town, a new part has been built with tourist facilities, making Baska a well-known tourist destination. The main road (M2) connects Baska to the town Krk (19 km). Together within good connection with the mainland (the bridge), ferry lines connect Baska with the island Rab and with Senj.

Punat

Punat is a small town, port and a marina on the eastern part of the Puntarska (Kosljunska) Cove, separated by the Prniba peninsula from the Krk Bay, on the south-eastern coast of the island Krk, 8 km southeast of the town Krk.

Named after a bridge (Lat. pons) which used to stand at the entrance into the Puntarska Cove, connecting Prniba with the eastern coast. Main occupations are farming, vine growing, olive growing, fishing, shipbuilding, tourism and yachting. In front of the town, in the middle of the shallow cove, is a forested island Kosljun, with a small pier and a Franciscan monastery.

Punat is one of the leading centers of yachting tourism on the Croatian coastline.
