Dugi Otok is an island in the Zadar's archipelago, the northern Dalmatian part.
It stretches in the direction north-west - south-east, within the island Molat on the north and the island Kornati on the south. Water sources or streams do not exist on the island. The western coast of the island is steep and high, with a number of islets along it like (Golac, Brscak, Magarcic, Mali and Veliki Planatak, Utra, Mrtovnjak, Luski, Krkneta, Lagnici, Mezanj, Katina, etc.); while the other shores are lower, with plenty of coves and sandy beaches such are Soliscica, Pantera and Telascica. The economy of the island is based on farming, viticulture, olive growing, livestock breeding and fishing. Ferry lines connect the island with Zadar (Bribinj, Zaglav).
